1. The internet requires approx 50 million horsepower in electricity

Yes. With an estimated 8.7 billion electronic devices connected to the Internet, the electricity required to run the system for even one day is very substantial.

2. TRASH!!

Two hundred and twenty million tons of old computers and other technology devices are trashed in the United States each year. ………………………That’s huge!!.

3. Goooooogle

Google handles an estimated 1 billion search queries each and every day, releasing almost 200 tons of CO2 per day. Every query has to travel on average 1,500 miles to a data center and back to return the answer to the user……………….Take a deep breathe 🙂

4. Windows store

There are 500 apps added each day to the Windows Phone Store. There are nearly 750k+ apps in windows phone store . Although the number is less compared to google play standing ahead with nearly 2,874,922 apps.

5. Micro-soft

Microsoft Was once named Micro-Soft. Well, at the initial days of Microsoft the company was titled as Micro-Soft. In the year 1976, the hyphen was deleted. Well, let me tell you Microsoft word is the combination of microcomputer and software.

EDIT: Thank you Bibhash Bora for suggesting the edit. The fact that qwerty keyboard slowed down the users was rather misleading. Rather it was designed to place commonly used letters closer. The fact has been deleted .
